Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all food preparation areas adhere to strict sanitation and health safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with the stocking and rotation of fresh produce and dry goods.
- Collaborate effectively with the kitchen staff, including chefs and servers, to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Operate various kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers safely and efficiently.
- Perform opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
- Participate in menu development sessions and provide feedback on food quality and customer preferences.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of professional cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety standards (HACCP certification preferred).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a diverse team.
- Basic understanding of kitchen inventory management and food cost control.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment/supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is an added advantage.
