Your responsibilities will include following standardized recipes, maintaining a clean and organized work station, managing portion control, and assisting with inventory management. You will also collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours, support the training of junior staff, and uphold all health and safety guidelines. Tanggung Jawab
- Execute dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Prepare and portion ingredients accurately for each shift, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during busy periods.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries, rotating stock, and monitoring storage conditions.
- Participate in menu development and suggest improvements to recipes or procedures.
- Train and mentor new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to accommodate special dietary requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
Kualifikasi
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food preparation methods.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining speed and efficiency.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and portion control.
- Relevant culinary training or certification is an advantage but not required.
