Join Fibercom Telecom Phils., Inc. as a Linux System Engineer and become the backbone of our critical IT infrastructure. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and maintain Linux servers (CentOS/Ubuntu) including installation, configuration, patching, and hardening
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and implement preventive maintenance
- Design and implement security protocols to protect systems from vulnerabilities and cyber threats
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting (Bash/Python) and orchestration tools
- Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure integrated infrastructure solutions
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports for compliance
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical system outages and emergencies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience in production environments
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware/KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
- Knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
- Relevant certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or CompTIA Linux+) preferred
