As a Litigation Clerk, you'll be instrumental in maintaining case integrity through precise document management, timely court filings, and comprehensive legal research. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage litigation case files, including document organization, indexing, and deadline tracking
- Prepare and file court documents (pleadings, motions, subpoenas) with strict adherence to procedural requirements
- Conduct legal research using databases to support case strategies and document preparation
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials regarding case updates and hearing schedules
- Assist in trial preparation by compiling exhibits, coordinating witness lists, and preparing hearing binders
- Maintain electronic and physical document management systems with confidentiality protocols
- Coordinate calendars for court appearances, depositions, and attorney meetings
- Process billing documentation and expense reports for litigation cases
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or equivalent legal qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years of litigation support experience in a law firm or legal department
- Proficiency in legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw) and document management systems
- Deep understanding of Malaysian court procedures and litigation protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional certification in legal studies or paralegal studies preferred
