Join the Municipal Government of San Luis, Agusan del Sur as a Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer II and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our community against natural disasters. This critical position involves developing and implementing strategies to reduce disaster risks, enhance community resilience, and ensure effective disaster response and recovery efforts. You will work closely with local government units, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote disaster awareness and preparedness initiatives.
As an officer in the Cordillera Administrative Region, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, creating hazard maps, and developing contingency plans tailored to the unique challenges of the area. Your expertise will contribute to minimizing the impact of disasters and protecting the lives and livelihoods of our residents.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement local disaster risk reduction and management plans
- Conduct hazard, vulnerability, and capacity assessments
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure effective disaster preparedness and response
- Organize and conduct disaster risk reduction training and awareness campaigns
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of disaster risk reduction programs
- Prepare and submit regular reports on disaster risk reduction activities
- Assist in the development of early warning systems and evacuation plans
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Disaster Management, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in disaster risk reduction management
- Knowledge of local and national disaster risk reduction frameworks and policies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
- Proficiency in data analysis and mapping tools
- Valid driver's license (if required for fieldwork)
