Join Beng Hui Marine Electrical's logistics team as a Logistics Assistant and become the backbone of our supply chain operations. In this vital role, you'll ensure seamless transportation of marine electrical equipment and parts across Singapore while supporting our field operations with efficient staff mobility solutions.
You'll manage end-to-end logistics coordination, from operating company vehicles (lorries/vans) for timely deliveries to handling critical import/export documentation. This position offers hands-on experience in marine logistics, requiring meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills to maintain our reputation for reliability.
As part of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to operational efficiency by maintaining accurate delivery records, optimizing transportation routes, and ensuring compliance with Singapore's logistics regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and execute timely delivery/collection of marine electrical equipment and parts using company vehicles
- Transport staff to job sites and designated drop-off points across Singapore
- Manage all import/export documentation and customs procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inventory records, and transportation schedules
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Optimize delivery routes to minimize transit times and fuel consumption
- Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams for seamless inventory management
Kualifikasi
- Valid Singapore driving license (Class 3/4 for lorries, Class 3 for vans)
- Minimum 1-2 years in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations
- Proficient in handling import/export documentation and procedures
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's road network and traffic regulations
- Basic inventory management and record-keeping skills
- Ability to lift up to 20kg and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
