A world-class manufacturer is seeking an experienced Logistics General Manager to drive operational excellence and supply chain efficiency. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from procurement to final delivery. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust logistics strategies that align with the company's business goals, optimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex supply chains within the manufacturing sector and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will lead a diverse team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Key focus areas include inventory management, transportation planning, warehouse optimization, and vendor relationship management. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies that align with organizational business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics team to drive operational excellence.
- Manage inventory levels, warehousing, and distribution networks to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers and vendors.
- Analyze logistics KPIs, such as on-time delivery rates and cost per unit, to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in logistics management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex logistical problems under pressure.
