Tanggung Jawab
- Safely operate company lorries to transport goods and materials to various destinations within Miri and the wider Sarawak region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Efficiently load and unload cargo, ensuring items are properly secured and accounted for during transit.
- Strictly adhere to all traffic regulations, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery logs, and incident reports.
- Collaborate closely with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules for peak efficiency.
- Provide professional service and maintain positive relationships with clients and warehouse personnel.
- Ensure the cleanliness, security, and basic upkeep of the assigned company vehicle.
Kualifikasi
- Valid and active GDL (Goods Driving License) or E Full license is mandatory.
- Proven working experience as a Lorry Driver, preferably within the logistics, manufacturing, or resources sector.
- Excellent knowledge of road networks and traffic conditions in Miri and the surrounding Sarawak areas.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting and manual loading tasks.
- High level of responsibility, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required by operational needs.
- Strong communication skills and basic proficiency in report writing and documentation.
