Tanggung Jawab
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with local traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and documentation for every shipment.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and logistics coordinators to optimize route planning.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the management immediately.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and maintained according to the company’s standards.
Kualifikasi
- Valid and clean Class E / GDL (Goods Driving License) driver’s license.
- Proven experience as a Lorry Driver or in a similar logistics-based role.
- Strong knowledge of Penang road networks and surrounding areas.
- Ability to perform manual labor associated with loading and unloading.
- Excellent time management skills and a strong commitment to punctuality.
- A disciplined approach to safety and hazard prevention.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia, English, or Mandarin (for effective communication with clients and staff).
