In this critical role, you will serve as the technical liaison between design teams and on-site execution, ensuring that all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems are implemented according to the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
As an M&E Coordinator, you will be responsible for interpreting complex main and sub-contract requirements. You will meticulously review and align M&E design drawings, verifying that all specifications meet the necessary technical standards. By coordinating closely with subcontractors and project managers, you will ensure the seamless integration of engineering systems, resolve technical discrepancies, and maintain strict adherence to BCA regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Review and analyze M&E design drawings and specifications to ensure full compliance with main contract and sub-contract requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external subcontractors to align project timelines and technical deliverables.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, material quality, and adherence to safety standards.
- Resolve technical queries and clarify design intent with engineers and architects.
- Ensure all M&E installations strictly comply with Singapore's BCA building control regulations and codes.
- Manage and organize documentation, including submittals, material samples, and progress reports.
- Liaise with relevant authorities to facilitate necessary approvals and inspections.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination or construction management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other MEP design software is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of BCA guidelines, construction processes, and site procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
