Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, including HVAC, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, and electrical services for various building projects.
- Prepare highly detailed M&E drawings, schematics, and layouts using industry-leading software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP, ensuring utmost accuracy and strict adherence to project specifications and local Singapore building codes (e.g., BCA, SS Standards).
- Conduct precise calculations and analyses for M&E systems, including but not limited to heat load calculations, pipe sizing, duct sizing, and electrical load estimations.
- Collaborate effectively with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless M&E design integration and proactive resolution of potential clashes.
- Perform regular site visits for technical surveys, progress monitoring, and to ensure that installations meticulously align with design specifications and rigorous quality standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, detailed material schedules, and accurate equipment lists.
- Assist in the preparation of robust tender documents and insightful project reports.
- Liaise proactively with clients, consultants, and contractors to expertly address technical issues and ensure all project milestones are met efficiently.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven, hands-on experience in M&E design and drafting, ideally gained within a consultancy or contractor environment in Singapore.
- Exceptional proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, complemented by strong practical experience in BIM software, specifically Revit MEP.
- Solid understanding and practical application of Singapore's local codes, regulations, and standards pertaining to M&E systems (e.g., SS standards, BCA requirements, SCDF fire codes).
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex M&E design calculations and skillfully select appropriate equipment and systems.
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- A highly self-motivated individual with the capability to manage tasks independently while also excelling as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team under tight deadlines.
- Experience with green building certifications (e.g., Green Mark) or sustainable design principles will be a distinct advantage.
