ICHOR Systems is looking for a skilled Machinist to join our 1st shift team at our Sauk Rapids, MN facility. As a Machinist you will set up and operate CNC lathes, CNC mills, and manual machines to produce highâprecision components for medical and semiconductor equipment. Working closely with engineers and quality assurance, you will interpret detailed blueprints, apply GD&T, and ensure all parts meet strict tolerances.
Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, 6:00âŻamâŻââŻ2:30âŻpm, with occasional overtime as production demands. Tanggung Jawab
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and GD&T specifications.
- Perform inâprocess inspections using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
- Maintain machines by performing routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Collaborate with engineering to improve processes and reduce cycle times.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a tidy work area.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or apprenticeship preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of handsâon machining experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming (Gâcode, Mâcode) and CAM software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
