We are experiencing an exciting phase of rapid expansion to meet worldwide demand, and we are looking for a skilled and driven Maintenance Engineer to join our team and ensure our production machinery operates at peak performance.
The Opportunity:
In this pivotal role, you will take full ownership of equipment reliability and maintenance strategy. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs. You will serve as the technical expert on complex breakdowns, utilizing your deep knowledge of PLCs, robotics, and mechanical systems to rapidly restore functionality and prevent recurrence. Your work will directly influence our Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and our ability to deliver high-quality products to our global customer base.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and refine the preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all production and facility equipment.
- Lead thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical, mechanical, and automation breakdowns to maximize uptime.
- Manage and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders, spares inventory, and asset history.
- Collaborate with Production and Process Engineering on new equipment installations, modifications, and factory acceptance tests.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S) to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Ensure strict compliance with ISO 9001 standards, Safety regulations, and company environmental policies.
- Manage external service providers and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with PLC systems (Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Omron), VFDs, Servo Drives, and SCADA.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
- Proven track record in fault finding, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).
- Experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Lean Manufacturing principles is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in CMMS software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
