Superpet Plastic Pte Ltd is currently seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our facility in the Tuas industrial area. We are a dynamic production environment and are looking for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting. This role is ideal for technical experts with a background in mechanical maintenance and industrial equipment repair.
Located in the West Region near the Tuas Checkpoint, this position is perfectly situated for candidates commuting from Malaysia via motorcycle. If you are a dedicated technician with a strong grasp of pneumatic systems and welding, we want to hear from you. You will play a critical role in ensuring our production lines run smoothly, minimizing downtime, and executing preventive maintenance schedules with precision.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic systems, including industrial air compressors.
- Execute welding and fabrication tasks to support facility structural and mechanical needs.
- Identify equipment malfunctions and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure optimal machine uptime and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and inventory of spare parts.
- Strictly adhere to workplace safety regulations (WSH) and environmental standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Proven work experience as a Maintenance Technician or Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on expertise in welding techniques (MIG/TIG/Arc) and metal fabrication.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial air compressor systems and hydraulic machinery.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work in the Tuas area and accommodate the required shift schedule.
- Ideal for candidates residing in or commuting from Johor Bahru.
