The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is looking for a dynamic Manager or Assistant Manager to drive the T-Up program. This initiative is pivotal in Singapore's deep-tech ecosystem, facilitating the secondment of A*STAR researchers to local enterprises to foster innovation and capability upgrading.
In this role, you will play a critical part in strengthening the collaboration between academia and industry. You will manage complex stakeholder relationships, facilitate technology transfer processes, and monitor the impact of R&D projects on business outcomes. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end T-Up secondment process, from matching researchers with industry partners to tracking project milestones.
- Engage with local SMEs and large enterprises to understand their technical challenges and R&D capability gaps.
- Facilitate effective communication and negotiation between A*STAR research institutes and industry partners to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of seconded researchers and the technological outcomes delivered to the companies.
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to streamline administrative processes and compliance requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and impact assessments on T-Up initiatives for senior management and funding agencies.
- Organize outreach activities and networking sessions to promote the T-Up program within the business community.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field; a Master’s or PhD is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in technology transfer, industry engagement, or R&D management.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore research and innovation ecosystem.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven project management capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
