You will lead a high-performing technical team focused on driving sustainable growth, ensuring high-quality placements, and delivering bespoke insurance solutions that meet the evolving needs of our commercial clients. The successful candidate will leverage deep industry knowledge to influence market trends, optimize broker engagement, and uphold our reputation for excellence in the Singaporean insurance sector.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the Commercial Lines portfolio through key broker partnerships.
  • Lead and mentor a team of insurance professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and high performance.
  • Oversee the end-to-end placement process, ensuring high-quality underwriting standards and competitive terms.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with brokers to gain market insights and secure preferred partnership status.
  • Analyze portfolio performance, loss ratios, and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, claims, and product teams to design innovative insurance products.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, specifically within the Singapore broker market.
  • Strong technical knowledge of property, casualty, and specialized commercial insurance lines.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of driving business growth and portfolio profitability.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMI, ACII, or equivalent) will be a significant advantage.
