Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all legal affairs for University of Cyberjaya, ensuring compliance with education regulations and corporate governance standards
- Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex contracts including vendor agreements, MOUs, and academic partnerships
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs for data privacy, intellectual property, and labor regulations
- Provide strategic legal advisory to senior leadership on academic initiatives, campus expansion, and digital transformation
- Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory interactions with government bodies
- Establish risk management protocols and conduct legal audits across university departments
- Mentor legal staff and coordinate with external legal counsel for specialized matters
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) with valid Malaysian Bar membership
- Minimum 8 years of progressive legal experience, including 3+ years in managerial role
- Proven expertise in contract law, compliance frameworks, and risk management within education sector
- Strong negotiation skills with ability to mediate complex stakeholder agreements
- Advanced understanding of Malaysian education regulations and international academic standards
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with ability to simplify legal concepts
- Professional certifications in compliance (e.g., CCEP) or corporate governance preferred
