Are you a strategic leader with a passion for retail aesthetics? Mall of Malaysia Sdn Bhd is inviting a talented Manager, Interior Design to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya. In this key leadership position, you will oversee the entire interior design process, from conceptualization and documentation to the final project implementation of our supermarket and shopping mall environments. You will be responsible for guiding a high-performing ID team, ensuring that all design deliverables adhere to the highest standards of quality and functionality. Your expertise will drive the creation of immersive shopping experiences, while your management skills will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and manage the daily operations of the Interior Design team, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including concept design, technical documentation, construction drawings, and project implementation.
- Ensure all design documentation complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, contractors, and external vendors, to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure the final implementation matches the design intent.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
- Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies to propose innovative design solutions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or lead role within the retail or commercial design sector.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in supermarket and shopping mall interior design.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
