Join Affin Bank as our Manager, Islamic Compliance and play a pivotal role in ensuring our Shariah-compliant banking operations meet the highest standards of Islamic finance principles. This position offers the opportunity to lead our compliance framework in the rapidly growing Islamic banking sector of Malaysia.
As a key member of our Islamic Banking division, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to Shariah principles and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all products, services, and processes are Shariah-compliant and aligned with the guidelines set by Bank Negara Malaysia and the Shariah Advisory Council.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Islamic compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular Shariah compliance reviews and audits of banking products, services, and operations
- Provide guidance and training to staff on Shariah compliance requirements and best practices
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure adherence to Shariah principles and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure new offerings are Shariah-compliant
- Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies
- Act as a liaison between the bank and the Shariah Advisory Council
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Finance, Law, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification in Islamic Finance is highly desirable
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Islamic banking compliance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Deep knowledge of Shariah principles and their application in financial products and services
- Familiarity with Malaysian Islamic banking regulations and standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively train and guide staff
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or Certified Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP) are advantageous
