Are you an experienced Quality Assurance leader with a deep understanding of tobacco manufacturing processes? YSQ International Pte Ltd is seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager, QA to oversee our quality operations. This is a high-impact role requiring relocation to our production facilities in Batam, Indonesia.
As the Manager, QA, you will be the custodian of product excellence, ensuring that every batch meets rigorous international tobacco industry standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, implement continuous improvement strategies, and drive a culture of zero-defect manufacturing. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the end-to-end Quality Assurance department within the tobacco production facility.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control protocols compliant with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Oversee raw material inspection, in-process monitoring, and finished goods testing to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality deviations and implement effective corrective actions (CAPA).
- Conduct regular quality audits and lead preparation efforts for external regulatory inspections.
- Foster a culture of quality-first mindset through training, mentorship, and clear performance KPIs for QA staff.
- Analyze quality data and report trends to executive management to drive process improvements and waste reduction.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Food Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the tobacco or highly regulated manufacturing industry.
- Deep knowledge of ISO standards, HACCP, and tobacco-specific production quality requirements.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and generate actionable reports.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge gaps between technical teams and operational management.
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Batam, Indonesia, on a full-time basis.
- Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and root cause analysis methodologies (Six Sigma/Lean).
