The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager for the RoboNexus National Robotic Programme to drive partnerships and initiatives that position Singapore as a global leader in robotics innovation.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of robotics technology adoption across industries, working with government agencies, research institutions, and industry partners to accelerate the deployment of robotic solutions in Singapore's vibrant innovation ecosystem.
The Manager will play a pivotal role in developing strategic partnerships, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving programme outcomes that support Singapore's ambition to become a Smart Nation through advanced robotics technologies.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute strategic partnership frameworks with industry players, research institutions, and government agencies to advance robotics adoption in Singapore
- Drive engagement with local and international robotics companies to facilitate technology transfer and commercialization opportunities
- Manage programme budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of NRP initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities and develop business cases for robotics solutions
- Represent A*STAR at conferences, trade missions, and industry events to promote Singapore's robotics ecosystem
- Monitor global robotics trends and provide strategic insights to inform programme direction and policy recommendations
- Foster relationships with academic institutions to support talent development and research collaboration
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or programme management
- Strong understanding of robotics technologies, automation systems, or advanced manufacturing
- Proven track record in managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience in the technology sector, preferably in hardware, AI, or robotics companies
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business opportunities
- Familiarity with Singapore's innovation ecosystem and government initiatives is advantageous
