Join the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) as a Manager/Senior Manager in Workplace Safety & Health and spearhead our commitment to creating a zero-accident workplace culture. In this pivotal role, you'll design and implement comprehensive safety protocols, drive proactive health initiatives across our global research facilities, and lead risk mitigation strategies that protect our 3,000+ researchers and staff. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop evidence-based safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance with Singapore's WSH Act, and foster continuous improvement through data-driven safety audits and incident investigations. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide safety management systems aligned with ISO 45001 standards
- Lead cross-functional safety committees and drive employee engagement initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement hazard control measures
- Oversee incident investigation processes and root cause analysis
- Manage regulatory compliance and prepare for WSH Council audits
- Design and deliver targeted safety training programs for diverse workforce
- Monitor safety KPIs and prepare executive dashboards
- Lead emergency preparedness and business continuity planning
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8+ years WSH management experience with 3+ years in leadership role
- Valid WSH Officer certification with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Proven track record implementing safety management systems in R&D environments
- Deep knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and industry standards
- Strong analytical skills with experience in incident investigation
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Professional membership in Singapore Institute of Safety Officers (SISO)
