We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Manager - Shipping & Documentation to lead our logistics operations at Premium Vegetable Oils. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end shipping lifecycle, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our premium products to both local and international clients. This position is critical to maintaining our reputation for operational excellence and supporting the company’s continued business growth.
As the Manager, you will be the bridge between our operations and our clients. You will manage customer accounts, resolve shipping-related inquiries efficiently, and ensure all documentation is meticulously prepared in strict compliance with regulatory standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee Shipping Operations: Manage the full shipping process from order receipt to final delivery, ensuring all shipments are dispatched on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Documentation Control: Prepare, verify, and submit all necessary shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
- Logistics Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport providers to negotiate rates, select optimal routes, and resolve logistical issues promptly.
- Customer Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding shipment status, tracking, and delivery expectations; resolve complaints to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure all shipping activities and documentation strictly adhere to company policies, local trade laws, and international regulations.
- Cost Management: Monitor shipping costs and volume data to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better terms with logistics partners.
Kualifikasi
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or documentation management, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Incoterms, import/export procedures, and shipping regulations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
