GIC Private Limited is seeking a visionary and strategic Managing Director (MD) of Corporate Technology to lead our global technology ecosystem. As a key member of our Technology Group, you will define the roadmap for our corporate platforms, ensuring that our infrastructure, applications, and digital services are not only robust and scalable but also at the forefront of financial technology innovation.
In this leadership capacity, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and cutting-edge technical solutions. You will champion digital transformation initiatives, foster a culture of engineering excellence, and drive the continuous improvement of mission-critical corporate technology platforms that support GIC’s investment mandates globally. We are looking for an inspiring leader who can manage high-performing teams, navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, and leverage data-driven strategies to deliver institutional-grade technology outcomes.
Tanggung Jawab
- Set the overarching strategy and multi-year roadmap for corporate technology platforms to align with GIC's global investment objectives.
- Lead large-scale technology delivery programs, overseeing end-to-end architecture, development, and operational support.
- Partner with C-suite executives and business leaders to identify technology gaps and implement high-impact solutions.
- Drive the digital transformation of corporate functions through cloud adoption, automation, and AI-enabled toolsets.
- Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and high-level resource planning to ensure optimal ROI.
- Cultivate a culture of agility, innovation, and psychological safety within the engineering and platform teams.
- Ensure stringent adherence to cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory compliance requirements within the Singapore and global fintech landscape.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in enterprise technology leadership roles, preferably within the global financial services or investment management sector.
- Proven track record of managing large, cross-functional engineering teams and delivering complex, mission-critical systems.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, modern cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and integration strategies for corporate software stacks.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor talent and foster a diverse, high-performing organizational culture.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards relevant to top-tier financial institutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
