Cevas Language and Review Center is looking for a passionate and dedicated Mandarin Instructor to join our growing team in Alabang, Metro Manila. We are committed to providing exceptional language education that empowers learners to achieve fluency and cultural understanding.
As a Mandarin Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality language instruction to students of varying proficiency levels. You will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters language acquisition and builds student confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening in Mandarin.
We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about sharing the richness of the Mandarin language and Chinese culture with diverse learners. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a meaningful impact in students' language development journeys.
Tanggung Jawab
- Deliver interactive and engaging Mandarin lessons to students using effective teaching methodologies
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, quizzes, and examinations
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and proficiency levels
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices
- Promote cultural awareness and appreciation through classroom activities and discussions
Kualifikasi
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin (Putonghua) with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Languages, or a related field preferred
- Previous teaching experience in Mandarin language instruction required
- Strong understanding of Mandarin grammar, pronunciation, and character systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively
- Patient, approachable, and committed to student success
- Ability to create a positive and motivating classroom environment
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
