Join Star Skykom Indonesia as a Mandarin-Speaking Construction Coordinator and become a vital bridge in our dynamic construction projects. We're seeking a linguistically talented professional to facilitate seamless communication between Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and our Indonesian teams. In this role, you'll interpret complex technical discussions, translate project documentation, and ensure cultural alignment across all project phases. This position offers the unique opportunity to leverage your language skills while contributing to landmark infrastructure developments in Jakarta. You'll work closely with engineers, contractors, and clients to overcome language barriers and maintain project momentum. Ideal candidates will combine linguistic proficiency with construction industry awareness to drive operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Tanggung Jawab
- Provide real-time interpretation for Mandarin-speaking clients during site inspections and meetings
- Translate technical drawings, contracts, and project specifications between Mandarin and Indonesian
- Coordinate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery
- Assist in preparing bilingual project reports and progress documentation
- Act as cultural liaison to facilitate smooth negotiations and conflict resolution
- Support onboarding Mandarin-speaking staff through orientation and training materials
- Maintain accurate records of all cross-cultural communications and translations
Kualifikasi
- Native-level fluency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia with business-level English comprehension
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction or engineering coordination
- Familiarity with construction terminology and project documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills with cross-cultural communication expertise
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced construction environments
- Certification in translation or technical writing is advantageous
- Proven track record of managing stakeholder communications
