As a Mandarin Teacher, you will play a crucial role in introducing young learners to the beauty and intricacies of the Chinese language and culture. We are looking for someone who can create a dynamic, supportive, and fun learning environment where children thrive.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to young children. You will use creative teaching methods to help students master basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structures. Beyond the classroom, you will collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall curriculum and communicate progress to parents. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and deliver interactive Mandarin language lessons for preschool and kindergarten students.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and language acquisition.
- Develop age-appropriate teaching materials, flashcards, and activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure learning goals are met.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to align curriculum with school standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels confident speaking Mandarin.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development and classroom activities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin (Hanyu Pinyin and Simplified/Traditional characters).
- Previous experience teaching young children (ages 3-6) is highly preferred.
- Strong patience, creativity, and a natural ability to engage young minds.
- Excellent communication skills in English (and local language if applicable).
- Ability to work full-time and adhere to school schedules.
