PT Permai Metal Indonesia is seeking a skilled Mandarin Translator to serve as a vital communication bridge between Mandarin-speaking and Indonesian-speaking team members. In this crucial role, you will facilitate seamless communication across language barriers, ensuring accurate and effective information exchange within our diverse workforce. As a key member of our administrative support team, you will help foster understanding and collaboration between different cultural backgrounds, contributing to our company's operational efficiency and harmonious work environment.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional language proficiency and cultural sensitivity, enabling them to translate not just words but also nuances that are essential for effective business communication. You will work closely with various departments to ensure all communications, documents, and instructions are accurately translated, helping to prevent misunderstandings and maintain productivity across our multicultural workplace.
Tanggung Jawab
- Translate spoken and written Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa with accuracy and cultural sensitivity
- Facilitate real-time communication between Mandarin-speaking TKI (Indonesian migrant workers) and local staff
- Translate official documents, contracts, and internal communications as required
- Provide interpretation support during meetings, training sessions, and important company events
- Assist in developing bilingual training materials and documentation
- Maintain accurate records of all translations and interpretations
- Support cross-cultural communication workshops to enhance team understanding
Kualifikasi
- Fluency in both Mandarin and Indonesian languages with professional-level written and verbal skills
- Previous experience as a translator or interpreter in a business or industrial setting
- Deep cultural understanding of both Chinese and Indonesian cultures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
- Strong attention to detail and precision in translations
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in translation software and digital tools
- Relevant educational background in translation, linguistics, or related field
