Wook Mobile Commerce is a fast-growing company in the mobile accessory and commerce industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mandarin Translator to join our dynamic team in Lampung. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary bridge for communication between our Sales Manager and the local sales staff, ensuring seamless operational flow and clear understanding of business objectives.
As a Mandarin Translator, you will not only translate verbal and written communications but also assist in maintaining professional documentation and supporting inter-departmental cooperation. The ideal candidate is someone who is fluent in both Mandarin and Indonesian, possesses a strong understanding of business terminology, and can thrive in a fast-paced retail and commercial environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Provide accurate verbal interpretation during meetings between the Sales Manager and local staff.
- Translate internal memos, sales reports, and business correspondence from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice-versa.
- Assist the Sales Manager in daily administrative tasks and project coordination.
- Ensure cultural nuances and business context are effectively conveyed during discussions to prevent miscommunication.
- Prepare meeting minutes and translate necessary training materials for the sales team.
- Facilitate communication during on-site visits and field operations within the Lampung region.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive business strategies and company data.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mandarin Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; HSK 5 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is a significant advantage.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar translation or administrative role, preferably in a commercial/retail setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively bridge communication gaps.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-moving sales environment.
- Willingness to be based in Lampung.
