Powered by the research and innovation of Nokia Bell Labs, our Network Infrastructure OPS Supply Chain Fixed Networks team in Malaysia is central to this mission. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our dynamic operations team.
How You Will Contribute
As a key member of the Continuous Improvement team, you will drive operational excellence within the manufacturing environment. Your primary mission is to identify and eliminate waste, enhance process stability, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. You will lead Kaizen events, design experiments (DOE), manage improvement projects, and work side-by-side with operators and technicians to implement sustainable changes on the shop floor.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen blitz, Lean Six Sigma projects, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes across the Fixed Networks supply chain.
- Analyze safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) KPIs to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities using data-driven methods.
- Implement Lean tools systematically, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, Standard Work, Kanban, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Logistics, and Manufacturing Engineering to standardize processes and reduce process variation.
- Develop and sustain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Track, report, and sustain the financial and operational impact of all improvement projects, ensuring benefits are fully realized.
- Coach and mentor team members, operators, and technicians on problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis (RCA), and basic CI tools.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, ideally within the electronics or telecommunications industry.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with process mapping, SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis, and systematic problem solving.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Advanced MS Excel, or Power BI).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive them to completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change in a complex manufacturing environment.
