We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. In this role, you will provide critical technical support to our instruments manufacturing line, ensuring we consistently meet product yield and quality targets. You will play a key role in supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and driving continuous improvement across our production processes.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, optimize manufacturing workflows, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of our production lines and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers worldwide.
Tanggung Jawab
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the instruments manufacturing line to ensure smooth operations and high efficiency.
- Analyze production data and manufacturing metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in product yield and quality.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering change orders, ensuring seamless transition from development to mass production.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and R&D teams to investigate root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
- Train production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the medical device, life sciences, or instrumentation industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant standards such as ISO 9001.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
