NMB-Minebea Thai, a subsidiary of the global MinebeaMitsumi Group, is a world leader in the manufacture of miniature and small-sized ball bearings and precision mechanical components. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our expanding operations at our strategically located Naga Factory in Cebu, Philippines.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our production, directly responsible for improving manufacturing efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and implementing innovative process solutions for high-volume automated assembly lines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance to ensure seamless and cost-effective factory operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with a strong technical background and a proven track record in driving operational excellence through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to optimize production throughput and quality for precision components.
- Design, procure, and commission tooling, fixtures, and equipment for new product introductions (NPI) and existing production lines.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues, minimizing downtime and waste.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC).
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Assembly (DFA).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, yield, and scrap rates, and drive improvements to meet plant targets.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including process flow charts, PFMEA, control plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 quality standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the automotive, electronics, or precision components industry.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher is an advantage), and process optimization.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to work on-site at our Naga Factory in Cebu and flexible with shifting schedules if necessary.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA) is highly desired.
