Join Jabil as a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in SMT (Surface Mount Technology), equipment management, and New Product Introduction (NPI). In this pivotal role, you'll lead and optimize manufacturing processes while ensuring stringent quality standards. - Lead optimization of SMT manufacturing processes for enhanced efficiency and yield
- Manage equipment maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive process excellence through Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles
- Train and mentor production teams on equipment operation and quality standards
- Collaborate in NPI projects to ensure seamless design-to-production transitions
- Implement corrective actions for quality deviations and process bottlenecks
- Support manufacturing engineering manager in achieving operational KPIs
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in SMT manufacturing environments
- Expertise in SMT equipment (placement machines, reflow ovens, AOI systems)
- Strong knowledge of NPI methodologies and project management
- Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma certification preferred
- Proficiency in process documentation and quality control systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with analytical mindset
- Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
