We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Assistant to join a leading Semiconductor manufacturing team in Woodlands (North Region). This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineering professional looking to contribute to high-tech manufacturing operations.
In this critical role, you will support the engineering team by managing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) databases, utilizing SAP systems for data integrity, creating and updating work instructions, and producing CAD designs for process optimization. You will analyze production processes to identify yield improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
This position offers a clear pathway to grow within a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Candidates must possess a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and a foundational understanding of manufacturing processes.

Tanggung Jawab
- Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation control.
- Utilize SAP and other ERP systems to manage BOMs, material movements, and production planning data.
- Create, review, and update manufacturing work instructions, SOPs, and process flow charts.
- Develop and modify CAD drawings (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) for fixtures, tooling, and layout changes.
- Monitor production yields and perform root cause analysis on manufacturing issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Production) to resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, safety standards, and quality management systems.
- Prepare regular engineering reports and process documentation for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred (Fresh graduates with internship experience welcome to apply).
- Hands-on experience with CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks).
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Understanding of PLM concepts and technical documentation control.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
