Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for RF and Optical technologies? Teradyne is looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our product test organization in Penang. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end product engineering lifecycle, ensuring our state-of-the-art testing equipment meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
As a critical leader within the organization, you will drive process improvements, mentor engineering talent, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges. You will manage the full production lifecycle, from process definition to mass production, ensuring that our innovative RF and optical solutions reach the market with zero defects. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of manufacturing engineers specializing in RF and Optical systems.
- Develop and implement scalable manufacturing processes to ensure high yield and product reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and Product Engineering to facilitate smooth technology transfers from design to mass production.
- Manage capital expenditures (CAPEX) and resource allocation for the manufacturing floor.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and ISO certifications.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong technical background in RF (Radio Frequency) and Optical testing methodologies.
- Proven track record of managing high-volume production environments and improving manufacturing yields.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using automated test equipment and CAD software.
