About the Role
SP Manufacturing Pte Ltd, a leading provider in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our esteemed team in Batam, Indonesia.
As a key driver of operational excellence, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, enhancing manufacturing efficiency, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across our high-volume production lines. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Maintenance to troubleshoot process issues, reduce cycle times, and ensure the highest standards of product quality. Your expertise in lean manufacturing principles, process validation, and statistical process control will be instrumental in driving our manufacturing capabilities to the next level.

Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, cycle time, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize process documentation, including Work Instructions (WI) and Process Flow Charts.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure smooth New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation.
- Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to enhance production efficiency and ergonomics.
- Monitor and control process parameters, ensuring compliance with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
- Provide technical training and support to production operators and technicians.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment (EMS industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP) and data-driven problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Hands-on experience with SMT, PCB assembly, or final assembly processes is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of implementing successful process improvements that deliver measurable cost savings and quality improvements.
- Willingness to work in Batam, Indonesia and commit to a contract-based engagement.
