We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Kulim, Kedah. In this visible and impactful role, you will lead a team of production operators and technicians to achieve world-class safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring strict compliance with EHS and quality standards, and rigorously driving performance metrics in a fast-paced, high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong track record in manufacturing supervision within the semiconductor or related high-tech precision manufacturing sectors. As a key liaison between the production floor and management, you will coordinate daily activities, optimize resource allocation, and champion Lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, VSM) to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of production operators and technicians to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, output, and cost.
- Oversee daily production activities in the assigned area, ensuring adherence to manufacturing schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance process efficiency, reduce cycle time, and eliminate waste.
- Enforce strict compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment (5S).
- Collaborate with Process Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning teams to resolve production bottlenecks and equipment issues promptly.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs to develop team competencies.
- Manage shift schedules, attendance, and resource allocation to ensure optimal workforce utilization and coverage.
- Generate and analyze production reports, using data to drive decision-making and report on area performance to site leadership.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor or precision equipment industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization tools.
- Proficiency in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts (rotating or fixed, as required) in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
