This is a 2-month contract offering a competitive salary of $6,500 per month for a professional capable of maintaining the complex electrical systems critical to temperature-controlled cargo.

Tanggung Jawab
- Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical machinery and electronic equipment aboard the reefer vessel.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration units (reefer containers) to ensure cargo stability.
- Monitor and manage the ship’s power generation, distribution systems, and emergency power supplies.
- Execute repairs on control systems, including PLCs and automated monitoring equipment.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime safety standards and environmental regulations (MARPOL, SOLAS).
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and engine department to optimize vessel performance.
- Maintain accurate logs of all electrical maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
- Respond immediately to electrical emergencies to minimize downtime and cargo risk.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related maritime technical field.
- Valid Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Certification in strict compliance with STCW standards.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of documented sea service as an ETO or Electrician specifically on Reefer Vessels.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex marine electrical systems and specialized refrigeration controls.
- Valid Seaman’s Book (SIRB) and all necessary maritime certificates (COP, COW, etc.).
- Physically fit and must have passed the standard Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME).
- Strong communication skills in English for effective coordination with international deck and engine crews.
- Proven ability to work independently under high-pressure maritime conditions.
