Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of marine diesel engines and propulsion systems onboard various vessel types.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using diagnostic software and precision instrumentation.
- Execute engine performance analysis and provide detailed technical reports to ship owners and management teams.
- Collaborate with international crews and project managers to ensure seamless engine operations and minimize vessel downtime.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of engine upgrades and retrofits during dry-dockings or port stays.
- Ensure all technical work complies with International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations and safety standards.
- Mentor junior technicians and provide on-site technical support for complex mechanical failures.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related maritime discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in marine engine service, maintenance, or operations.
- In-depth knowledge of 2-stroke or 4-stroke marine diesel engines and associated auxiliary machinery.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Willingness and fitness to travel extensively for international service assignments.
- Proficiency in reading technical blueprints, engine manuals, and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate and basic offshore/maritime safety training (STCW) is a significant advantage.
