Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of marine mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, implementing timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Monitor engine room performance and ensure all machinery operates within safety parameters.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, fuel consumption, and engine performance metrics.
- Coordinate with technical teams to execute repair schedules and vessel upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Support the team in emergency repair situations and provide technical advice for system improvements.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in marine engine room operations or maintenance.
- Strong understanding of shipboard electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant maritime certifications or licenses are highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills for reporting and documentation.
