Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of shipboard machinery, including engines, generators, and pumps.
- Conduct routine inspections of engineering systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Monitor and record fuel consumption, oil levels, and other critical parameters to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to international maritime safety standards (STCW) and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports, logs, and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with the ship’s crew and superintendents to coordinate maintenance schedules and resolve technical issues.
- Perform emergency repairs and respond to machinery breakdowns in a timely manner.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related technical field.
- Valid STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) certificates and relevant maritime licenses.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine engineering on vessels or in related industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and refrigeration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions and at heights.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is preferred.
