Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on marine mechanical systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults in engines, pumps, and propulsion systems.
- Test repaired components to ensure they meet performance specifications and safety standards.
- Replace worn or damaged parts using precision hand and power tools.
- Maintain an organized and safe workshop environment compliant with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.
- Document all maintenance activities, service logs, and parts usage accurately.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize equipment longevity and performance.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in marine or industrial mechanical repair.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of basic and specialized mechanical hand tools.
- Strong understanding of marine mechanical systems and engine maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service diagrams.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational procedures.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a workshop environment.
