We are looking for a Marine Operations Coordinator!
People Profilers is seeking a highly organized and proactive Marine Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will serve as the central point of contact for all maritime logistical activities, ensuring the seamless coordination of vessel schedules, cargo handling, and shore operations. You will be responsible for maintaining strict compliance with international maritime regulations and safety standards while fostering strong relationships with port authorities, shipping agents, and internal stakeholders. Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and schedule marine vessel arrivals, departures, and layovers to optimize logistics flow and minimize downtime.
- Manage the end-to-end processing of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs clearance paperwork.
- Liaise effectively with port authorities, shipping agents, and clients to resolve logistical bottlenecks and ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to maritime safety regulations, environmental policies, and company operational procedures.
- Track cargo inventory and provide real-time status updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Analyze operational data to prepare performance reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Assist in the budget management of operational expenses, including fuel costs and port fees.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in marine operations, logistics coordination, or transport management.
- Strong working knowledge of international maritime laws, customs regulations, and shipping procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills preferred).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Valid certification in Safety Management Systems (ISM Code) or equivalent maritime safety training is highly desirable.
