We are currently expanding our technical team in Singapore and seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marine Service Engineer to be based in Jurong East.
As a key member of our operations team, you will diagnose, maintain, and optimize complex marine propulsion systems, diesel engines, and auxiliary equipment. Your technical decisions directly impact the safety and efficiency of vessels operating worldwide. You will work closely with ship crews, port engineers, and classification societies to ensure compliance with the highest international standards.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting of marine diesel engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary machinery.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance, overhauls, and breakdown repairs in accordance with OEM specifications and safety protocols.
- Conduct performance optimization tests, sea trials, and commissioning of newly installed or repaired equipment.
- Prepare detailed and accurate technical service reports, maintenance logs, and condition monitoring assessments.
- Collaborate with shipboard engineering teams and shore management to plan and prioritize service activities efficiently.
- Manage spare parts inventory for service assignments, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all service operations.
- Provide on-the-job training and technical support to junior engineers and vessel crew members.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of practical, hands-on experience in the servicing and repair of marine engines and systems.
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engine principles, hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and marine propulsion controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic circuit diagrams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently under minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel overseas for short-term assignments and work flexible hours when necessary to meet operational demands.
