Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain efficiency? Kamaya Electric is seeking a dedicated Material Control Executive to join our manufacturing facility in Ipoh, Perak. In this critical role, you will be the heartbeat of our production operations, ensuring that our material flow is seamless, inventory levels are optimized, and production schedules remain uninterrupted.
As a Material Control Executive, you will collaborate closely with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to mitigate supply risks and maintain high operational standards. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and logistical coordination.
Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, execute, and monitor material requirements to support production schedules.
- Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely arrival of raw materials and components.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and system audits.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify potential shortages and implement preventative measures.
- Manage warehouse storage capacity and optimize material handling processes.
- Generate and present regular inventory reports to management regarding stock levels and variance.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflow and improve overall plant efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in material control, inventory management, or production planning within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight production deadlines.
- Deep understanding of JIT (Just-in-Time) and lean manufacturing principles is highly preferred.
