In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind advanced material development projects, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and mass production.
As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will lead complex cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with global suppliers and internal production teams to ensure our material solutions meet the highest technical standards. You will be responsible for defining material strategies, resolving technical challenges in the production lifecycle, and ensuring that our material portfolio maintains its competitive edge in the global semiconductor market. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage end-to-end material development projects from conceptualization to mass production.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to achieve project milestones.
- Drive material selection, qualification, and validation processes to ensure compliance with strict performance specifications.
- Evaluate and manage supplier performance to ensure consistency and quality of raw materials.
- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) on material-related failures and implement robust corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering department.
- Support the scaling of new technologies by defining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s or PhD degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in material engineering, preferably within the semiconductor or optoelectronics industry.
- Deep understanding of thin-film materials, polymers, or substrate technologies.
- Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Expertise in analytical characterization tools (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR).
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DoE).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical strategies.
