Alstom is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Material Handler to join our logistics operations team in Singapore. In this role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that the critical components required for our global transport projects are handled with precision, safety, and efficiency.
As a Material Handler, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. You will work within a dynamic, shift-based environment, collaborating with a diverse team to manage inventory flow from receiving through to final distribution. We are looking for an individual who is safety-conscious, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform accurate receiving, inspection, and verification of incoming materials and goods.
- Execute systematic binning and storage of components to ensure optimal inventory organization.
- Process goods issues and material transfers in alignment with production schedules.
- Conduct regular stock-takes and cycle counts to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
- Handle scrap parts mutilation and disposal processes according to environmental and company safety guidelines.
- Ensure all warehouse documentation is updated accurately in the ERP system.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in compliance with workplace health and safety (WSH) standards.
Kualifikasi
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for inventory data entry.
- Ability to work on a rotational shift pattern.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify part discrepancies.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- A proactive attitude towards workplace safety and operational excellence.
- Valid forklift license or experience with material handling equipment (e.g., reach truck) is a distinct advantage.
