In this pivotal role, you will be the primary bridge between procurement, production, and logistics, ensuring that our operations maintain a seamless flow without interruption.
As a Material Planner, your core objective is to oversee the entire lifecycle of material requirements. This involves analyzing production schedules, interpreting demand forecasts, and coordinating with both global and local suppliers to ensure the timely arrival of components and raw materials. You will be responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as lead-time delays or inventory shortages, while simultaneously working to minimize excess stock and reduce carrying costs.

Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze material requirements based on master production schedules and sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize obsolescence while preventing production downtime.
- Maintain and update the ERP/MRP system for accurate material tracking and procurement data.
- Liaise with production and logistics departments to resolve any material-related bottlenecks.
- Evaluate supplier performance metrics and contribute to supply chain optimization projects.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Support the procurement team in identifying alternative sourcing options when necessary.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in material planning or inventory control within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for managing supplier relationships.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
