In this role, you will be the backbone of our production efficiency, ensuring that all materials are perfectly aligned with factory build plans.
As a Material Specialist, you will proactively manage supply constraints, evaluate supplier performance, and anticipate material demand to prevent production bottlenecks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our logistics workflows. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and manage material inventory levels to ensure seamless alignment with factory build schedules.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential supply chain constraints before they impact production output.
- Analyze supplier performance metrics and lead communication to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems regarding material status, lead times, and vendor updates.
- Prepare periodic reports on material availability, shortage risks, and recovery plans for management review.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by improving material handling and storage workflows.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or production control within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and forecast supply requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is highly preferred.
