Are you a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail? Copeland is looking for a skilled Materials Planner to optimize our supply chain operations in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As a Materials Planner, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between production requirements and inventory availability. You will be responsible for developing robust material plans that align with our business objectives, ensuring that raw materials and components are available exactly when needed to maintain seamless production flows.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Production Planning, Procurement, and Sales, to forecast demand accurately and manage stock levels effectively. You will utilize advanced ERP systems to track inventory, analyze lead times, and identify potential supply chain risks before they impact operations. Your ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies will be key to driving efficiency and reducing costs across the organization. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive material planning strategies to support production schedules and customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and manage safety stock to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to generate accurate demand forecasts and adjust plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Resolve material shortages and excess inventory issues by negotiating with suppliers or adjusting production schedules.
- Generate and maintain reports regarding inventory status, material usage, and supply chain performance metrics.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
